The Queen's Platinum Jubilee

Thanks to the generous Government funding gifted in honour of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee in 2022, the Department of Conservation is working with Trees That Count to deliver a special commemorative programme supporting the planting of 100,000 native trees at 14 outstanding native restoration projects across Aotearoa New Zealand.

New Zealanders can get involved with this scheme by helping to plant these native trees at a number of events nationwide, or by donating their own tree in honour of Her Majesty.
