Cockle Bay Domain Restoration Project

Planter
Community Organisation
Auckland
The Cockle Bay Domain Restoration Project covers an area between Pah and John Gill Roads in Cockle Bay, near Howick in Auckland. The approximate five acre block of land has a stream which flows on to Cockle Bay beach, directly affecting the local water quality and life within. This is a long term eco restoration project. With lots of urban water run off the domain needs many new trees to protect the water way and the life within. Many unwanted trees need to be removed to allow for new plantings and weed control.
