Te Kakano Aotearoa Trust

Community Organisation
Te Kākano Aotearoa Trust is a Wānaka community-based native plant nursery that specialises in propagating plants of local origin and uses these plants for localised native habitat restoration. We work with local community groups, schools, organisations & businesses in the effort to promote hands-on community land care.

Te Kākano's mission is to inspire community native habitat restoration through education, propagation and hands-on participation.

Te Kākano has been involved in habitat restoration in the Upper Clutha area for more than 13 years now. We are proud of what we have achieved and are excited about where we are going to do.

Funders matched to this planter
