Makara Peak MTB Park

The Makara Peak Supporters' mission is to create a world class MTB park in a restored native forest. Since 1998 we have been planting trees and dealing to pests on the 250Ha scenic reserve (as well as building trails). This year we will be planting 6,800 seedlings with support from WCC, Project Crimson, Forest & Bird, which includes 5,000 from the Trees That Count and Z partnership.
